Biography
Elizabeth “Betsy” Reichart is a library director for the Frankford Public Library in Delaware.
Previously, she was a librarian and an instructor of information literacy at Penn Foster College, and director of the Library Science K-12 Certification Program at Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Reichart has held other professional positions as library media specialist and library director.
A past chair of the Pennsylvania Library Association’s College and Research Division, she has presented at American Library Association annual conferences, and at various conferences and workshops sponsored by the Pennsylvania Library Association.
Reichart’s credentials include a K-12 Library Media Certification from the State of New York; Webmaster and Instructional Technology Certificate from Penn State; and a Post-Grad Certificate in Institutional Assessment from the State University of New York, Courtland.
