CSCI-C 308 System Analysis and Design

3 credits

  • Prerequisites: None
  • Delivery: On-Campus

    • The software development life cycle; data flow diagrams; entity relationship modeling; structured design; validation; user interfaces; implementation and testing. A team project will be completed.

    Learning Outcomes

    1. Practice systems analysis and design using appropriate tools and approaches for analysis, problem-solving, design, and documentation.
    2. Gather information requirements, estimate the time and scope of the project, and write detailed specifications.
    3. Create a design by rapid prototyping to solve a problem.
    4. Develop effective communication strategies among project stakeholders.
