CSCI-C 323 Mobile Application Development

3 credits

  • Prerequisites: None
  • Delivery: On-Campus

    • This course focuses on developing mobile applications for modern platforms and introduces common tools and languages used. The course will emphasize the app development cycle: application design, development, testing, publishing, and distribution; development tools and emulators/simulators; user interface layout; using sensors including touch, geo-location, and orientation; and data management.

    Learning Outcomes

    1. Build small-scale applications to learn various programming concepts and techniques.
    2. Build applications with user interfaces that includes commonly used layout items.
    3. Build applications that incorporate common gestures, can use hardware capabilities, including sensors, and can use storage (internal and external).
    4. Build applications that can be distributed and published.
