Rebekah Holcomb

Holcomb attended Pike High School in Indianapolis where she was an iDEW student, graduating in 2018. At IU's Luddy School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering at Indianapolis she was a LiFT scholar and served as an iDEW near-peer mentor. Holcomb graduated with a bachelor of science degree in informatics in 2022 and was hired as a software engineer at Celigo.

Problem-based and project-based curriculum

In each project, student teams collaboratively design and build a solution to a problem within a particular context using a specific technology.

The iDEW program introduced me to and prepared me for my college career in informatics. Without this experience and the support of the iDEW staff, I don't know if I would have been as prepared.
