IUPUI ADS Sports Analytics students crunch the numbers for College Football Playoff

Four students in the Applied Data Science, Sports Analytics specialization program at Luddy IUPUI collected and analyzed economic impact data when Indianapolis hosted the College Football Playoff in 2022.
Austin Anderson, Brady Kas, and Dallas Hutchinson are in the Accelerated 4 + 1 program, earning their bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from the School of Health and Human Sciences and their master’s degree in Applied Data Science from Luddy IUPUI in just five years. Andrew Marion graduated from the master’s program in December 2022, having already earned his bachelor’s degree from Purdue in both math and statistics.
