The School of Informatics and Computing is hosting its Media Arts and Science Capstone Event from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday (April 27) at the Informatics and Communications Technology Complex (ICTC), 535 W. Michigan St. Attendance is free and open to recruiters, industry professionals, current and prospective students, alumni, faculty, family and friends.
This year’s event promises to be one of the biggest and best yet, with about 75 students presenting their projects throughout the building.
This event – held at the close of each semester – celebrates and showcases the work of the School of Informatics and Computing’ graduating Media Arts and Science students. The capstone project represents the culmination of a student’s knowledge and abilities in a particular area of specialization. Projects include:
- Interactive media
- Gaming
- Web development
- Digital storytelling
- Video and sound production
