Biography
Hometown: Hyderabad, India
I earned my bachelor’s in pharmacy and now am pursuing my master’s in Health Informatics at Luddy. I currently work at the Purkayastha Lab for Health Innovation as a research assistant.
Technology has been impacting the health care industry to a large extent and I was always fascinated about how the entire scenario works. I always wanted to do something that keeps me engaged, and therefore chose health informatics as my major.
Apart from academics, I’m also a part of DesiJags an Indian student organization here at IUPUI. I enjoy dancing, singing, interacting with people and exploring new places. Several graduate ambassadors helped me during my initial steps toward enrolling at IUPUI. Now I would like to help out others. Any questions regarding the courses or life here at IUPUI, always feel free to contact me!
Advice for new students: IUPUI is a place of opportunities. Stay alert and try to get hold of every opportunity that comes your way. Don’t make decisions based on second-hand information. Always strive hard to achieve your dreams.
