Biography
I am pursuing my Master’s in Library and Information Science, taking a general track. Currently, I work full-time as an assistant librarian. I do baby and preschool storytimes, school-age programs and supervise staff. I love getting the sillies out at storytime or building as sorts of science creations with the school-age kids. I would like to continue that career path, but I am also open to change. In addition to that job, I also work part-time at a restaurant. My work weeks can average between 50 to 70 hours a week. The MLIS program is wonderful because I can work full-time and still work on my education to enhance the work I am doing now and going forward.
