About: The field of bioinformatics had always been intriguing to me, when one could literally build the whole genome on a desktop (a supercomputer probably!). I chose IUPUI for its amazing resources and industrial opportunities, along with tie-ins with multiple high-end hospitals around the city. The constant availability of opportunities that keep me involved with not only academics or industry. but also with the society. provides a perfect ambience for growth. I can clearly say that I am proud to be a Jaguar! Go Jags!
Advice for new students: Never hesitate to contact your seniors or professors on doubts or questions. The more you ask, the more you learn … or something like that!
