I am currently pursuing my master’s in Health Informatics at School of Informatics and Computing. As an undergraduate, I’d noticed the difficulties my profession was facing because of a lack of knowledge on how to use advanced computational, information technology, and data in the health sector.
Now as I study Health Informatics, I’m learning how to use machine learning and artificial intelligence in the health care sector. SoIC is a great place for learning new skills, it is providing me with many great chances and opportunities to reach closer to my dreams. The school has guided and supported me every step of the way.
By the end of my first semester, I was working as a research assistant at the Purkayastha Lab for Heath Innovation, and as a research assistant at IU School of Medicine. With the great privilege of being a graduate ambassador for SoIC I can help new students with life-changing decisions, by choosing a wise path.
Advice for new students: Take the chances and go wisely after every little opportunity life provides, and witness how wonders can happen
