I’m a senior majoring in Biomedical Informatics with a minor in Anthropology in the accelerated 4+1 B.S. + M.S. program to earn my master’s in Bioinformatics after graduating from my bachelor’s program. The intersection of informatics solutions and clinical research in the healthcare field is what initially piqued my interest in Biomedical Informatics and drove me to attend IUPUI. Especially as IUPUI is the only university on the east coast to offer this major as an undergraduate degree, the opportunities found here to progress in my field are unparalleled.
This academic year, I’m working as a Student Ambassador for the SoIC, an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Regenstrief Institute, and as an Honors College Peer Mentor. Additionally, I’m a member of the Honors College, ALD/PES National Honors Society, Bioinformatics Club, and Women in Technology Club.
