Biography
Hometown: Hyderabad, India
I’m currently pursuing masters in health informatics. I support the school of informatics and computers as a technical assistant. I received my pharmacy bachelor’s degree from GITAM University in India. I decided to pursue a career in health informatics since there are many interesting options in this emerging field. Health informatics is ideal for people like me who love technology and want to combine that with their experience in or interest in healthcare without working directly with patients. IUPUI is a great place for students to work with faculty researchers on basic, clinical, and applied research topics in biomedical, clinical, and information sciences. Additonaly In my free time, I enjoy volunteering and traveling. As a SoIC graduate ambassador, I would love assisting students with their inquiries. Do not hesitate to contact me.
Advice for new students: Stay true to yourself! It is important throughout this journey because it will teach you valuable lessons. Go to events on campus, they can be a great experience for you and your new friends! or somewhere to meet new friends.
