Traveling to IUPUI
Family members are welcome to also visit the US and stay in one of the many downtown hotels.
Students and their families are responsible for securing a passport, a B-2 visa to the United States, arranging air travel, and arranging transportation from the Indianapolis Airport to IUPUI.
While most costs of the camp are covered in the registration fee, it is good to have USD currency on hand for other expenses. The Indianapolis Airport will have currency exchange and ATMs available.
Scholarships
Students who enroll at IUPUI in the academic year after attending this summer camp are eligible for a one-time $1,300 scholarship if they choose a major within the IU Luddy School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering in Indianapolis.
English Proficiency
All workshops will be taught in English. Participants must show proof of English proficiency to be accepted into this program. We recommend reviewing the English proficiency guidelines for admission to IUPUI to assess if you will be ready to participate in the camp. If you have not taken an English proficiency exam yet, we recommend completing the Duolingo English Test and earning a minimum score of 90 to be ready for this camp.
Unofficial copies, screenshots, and PDFs of test scores are acceptable forms of proof. After registering for the camp, a form will be emailed to you with instructions on how to upload your English proficiency scores.
