Biography
Hometown: Hyderabad, India
I’m a master’s student in bioinformatics and I currently work in the Janga lab of genomics and systems biology as a Research assistant, my research interest lies in RNA targeting CRISPR-CAS systems. and My interest in bioinformatics began in elementary school, when I wondered how these DNA and proteins could accomplish so much work despite their small size. After learning about the highly qualified faculty, the high quality of education, and the opportunities for students to participate in research works, I decided to pursue my master’s degree at IUPUI. As a SOIC Graduate Ambassador I would like to help new students who are excited to explore the world of bioinformatics.
