Multimedia equipment is available for Luddy Indianapolis faculty, staff, and students who are taking classes from the Luddy Indianapolis in the current semester. With their instructor’s permission, students enrolled in a Luddy Indianapolis 300-level or higher video course are eligible to check out a high-definition video camera. Equipment is available on a first-come-first-served basis; all requests will be taken in the order received.

The Equipment Portal should still be used to reserve equipment, but you will be required to contact Equipment Checkout to pick-up and return equipment. You can contact checkout via email luddychk@iu.edu or phone 317-274-1976.
Special hours for holidays and school breaks will be posted outside the door of IT 259.
Equipment Checkout Procedures
Request and Pick-up
All requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Equipment reservations will be cancelled if not picked up by the time equipment check-out closes on the assigned day.
All requests are invalid without a confirmation from the Luddy Indianapolis technology staff. You will be asked to show a valid form of ID (JagTag, Driver’s License, or State ID) when checking out equipment.
Students with outstanding or missing equipment will not be allowed to checkout equipment.
Returning
Equipment is considered late if not returned by the due date. It is the responsibility of the person checking out the equipment to verify that all parts listed on the check-out form are present. It is the responsibility of the person checking out the equipment to ensure that all parts are returned in working order.
Equipment must be returned to IT 259 during open office hours. If you are unable to return your equipment by the due date, you must contact the office by phone at 274-1976 or by e-mail at luddychk@iu.edu to explain the situation. Failure to do so will result in possible suspension of or removal of privileges to equipment checkout.
